The secret to healthy eating is to plan ahead. It is too easy to eat takeaway or reach for unhealthy options in the pantry when there is nothing prepared in the fridge when you are tired and stressed.  If meals and snacks are planned and there are healthy choices available, you will be able to make better choices when you are hungry.

Set aside a regular time each week to create a shopping list and meal plan for the week ahead. The meals don’t have to be extravagant. Plan simple, easy and delicious meals, meals that you’ll be more likely to want to cook quickly and enjoy eating after a long day.
